Chapter 3

The morning after Eider met Molly at the theater, he awakens early, and his first thought is of Jamie. He calls and asks if she is up for that date yet, but she shoots him down yet again. He calls Molly instead, and she agrees to meet him at the beach.

He tries to entertain her with a dramatic story, but she is less than impressed. He soon discovers she has other things on her mind.

"Enough of the chit-chat, Eider, let's go skinny dipping."

He tries not to stare as she slips out of her clothes and lowers herself into the steamy hot tub.
"Stop staring and get in here, Eider!"

Yes! Eider thinks to himself. Hot tub, beautiful woman, sans clothing - I've got it made! Let's see, what to do first...

Unfortunately for Eider, an overweight Chinese tourist decides to join them in the hot tub. Eider's eyes go glassy as he tries to avoid looking at the spectacle in front of him. The mood ruined, Molly ends the date, and Eider heads off to do something else he's been wishing for - get a tattoo.

Everyone knows that if you work in the music industry, you need your tats, and Eider is no exception. He clenches his fists and makes pathetic little squeaks the whole time the tattoo artist is working. But as least now he is ready, for when he gets his big break.

He is just finishing up with the tattoo artist, when who should appear with a bouquet of flowers but Zelda Mae. He is so surprised he forgets to put his clothes back on.

Zelda Mae compliments him on his new tats, and Eider of course flirts back.

Let's see, this tactic has worked in the past, Eider thinks it should work again.

Success! Zelda lets him kiss her. Suddenly a crazy idea pops into his head.

"So, Zelda, I know we haven't known each other long, but do you want to go steady with me?"

"Mmm, I'd love to be your girlfriend, Eider."

The tattoo artist stares at them the whole time. Eider wonders what his deal is. Hopefully he doesn't know Jamie, as Eider has plans for after work.

He changes into his work clothes and says goodbye to Zelda.
"Will I see you tonight, Eider?"
"Not tonight, I have to work late. But we can go on a date tomorrow, okay?"
"Sounds good! See you then."

Eider doesn't really have to work late. He comes right home from work, and calls Jamie. He is thrilled when she agrees to come over for a date.

They dance for a while to the music of his new stereo.

"Oh, Eider. I like you a lot."
"I like you too, Jamie. A lot."

"Would you like to see my bedroom?" He whispers in her ear.

They make out on the bed for a while....

....which leads to the inevitable.

Jamie is smitten. The next morning, Eider wishes to woohoo with her one more time before she leaves for work.

He follows as she heads into the shower - and the rest, as they say, is history.

Notes
Eider had a very busy day. Yes, this chapter was all one day. I was so surprised when Zelda showed up at the tattoo parlor, and even more surprised when Eider wished to ask her to go steady. One down, nine to go. Right now he has wishes locked to go on a date with Zelda, and to go on a first date with someone new.

Chapter 2

There is really nothing to do, to get ready for his party, seeing as his finances are pretty low. So Eider spends the morning practicing his guitar - in the bathroom. Maybe the acoustics are better in there?

Time to stop the air math, genius -your guests are here. Hey, what is this? Two party crashers out of the first three guests? Eider doesn't even know Marty Keaton. And the vampire definitely wasn't invited.

Let's get this party started!

Jamie brings felafel. She doesn't look too happy. I wonder why?

Eider and Jamie talk while the guests chow down on Jamie's felafel.
"Where's the music?" Jamie's asks. "Don't you have a stereo?"

Eider doesn't have the money for a stereo, so he pulls out his guitar to play for his guests. He insists they all come into the bathroom - it just sounds so much better in there. Eider doesn't know the two ladies; maybe they are friends of Marty's? He wonders where Zelda and Pauline are.

Jamie interrupts the concert to give Eider flowers...

Just then, Zelda Mae pops her head in the bathroom.
"Hi, Eider! Sorry I'm late!"

Zelda and Jamie give each other the stink eye. Eider isn't really worried - they can't possibly know he's been flirting with both of them, can they?  They stand around for a few minutes. Jamie leaves first, then everyone else decides it's time to go as well.

Eider is surprises to find Pauline Wan on his front porch shortly after everyone has left. She apologises for showing up for the party so late.

"Don't worry, it's fine. We can have our own private party," Eider flirts.

Pauline rolls her eyes at that.
"What?" Eider shrugs. "What's wrong with that?"

Pauline changes the subject.
"I brought you something."
"Flowers? For me? No one has ever given me flowers before! And my favorite color, too!"

Eider wants to show her how much his playing has improved, so he invites her into the bathroom.

When he finishes the song, Pauline surprises him again.
"More flowers? Why thanks!"

Then Eider takes Pauline's hand and leads her out into the yard.
"Look! Stars!"

"This was a great date, Eider. Thanks for inviting me."

"I want to thank you by giving you these..."

"....and these."
Eider is thrilled. After Pauline leaves, he sells all the flowers and buys himself a stereo.

The next night after work, Jamie is waiting for him when he leaves the theater. He thinks perhaps he can finally get the date with her that he's been wanting. But she claims she is too tired to go on a date tonight, maybe some other time.

Eider isn't tired at all; he wonders why anyone would be so tired at 9 o'clock at night. So he wanders over to say hello to someone else who's caught his eye. He flirts for a while with Molly French.

She flirts back....

...and gives him an amazing massage right there in front of the theater.

"Maybe we could go out sometime."
"I'd like that."

Notes
Sorry, the party was lame. Zelda showed up just as everyone was about to leave, and Pauline showed up after everyone was already gone. But at least he was able to get his date with Pauline. Jamie is giving Eider the run-around. He's asked her out twice now, and both times she said she's made excuses. He still has the wishes to date and woohoo with her. Next time: A date with Molly.

Chapter 1

Meet Eider Marmalade. He just moved to Sunset Valley. He is really hoping the girls are cuter here than they were in Twinbrook. He thinks that getting a job at the theater might help him meet some of them. Pretty girls, that is.

Outside the theatre, he decides to get to know his coworker Yumi Sekimoto a little better. He jokes about working at the theater in order to meet girls, and Yumi finds this quite funny.

He is not impressed when she begins to freak out over nothing, and he moves on to greener pastures.

He tries a pick up line on Jamie Jolina, and she returns his flirts. He is excited to find that she also has the flirty trait.

"So, what's your sign?"
"Libra"

Jamie and Eider have compatible signs! Who'd have thought?

Eider wishes to have his first kiss with Jamie Jolina, and she doesn't disappoint.

"I'm thinking of having a party on Wednesday. It's my day off. You wanna come?"
Working until nine every night doesn't leave much time for parties.

Jamie would love to come to Eider's party. She jumps into his arms before running off to take care of some business.

This turned out to be fortuitous, because Eider has his eye on someone else he wants to meet.

Let's see, pickup line then ask for her sign. It worked last time. Another Libra! Eider is thrilled to find another girl with a compatible sign.

They flirt for a few minutes. Her name is Zelda Mae.

Then Zelda Mae makes an excuse, and sneaks off behind the bookstore.

It seems she only wanted to scare this poor little girl.

Meanwhile, Jamie shows up at the theater again, and Eider offers her soothing back rub. He thinks about what it would be like to woohoo with her.

Jamie was quite pleased, but the look of things. Eider decides he would like to ask her out on a date. Maybe if things go well, she will come back to his place with him. And then, who knows?

Eider wants to flirt with her some more, but is accosted by someone making a political speech. Eider tries to listen politely, but is getting pretty bored. And Jamie is walking away. The date will have to wait for another day.

Suddenly he sees a way out. He has to meet a vampire. Even this woman will understand that meeting a vampire should take priority.

Eider approaches Dallas Fortune. Hmm. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all.

What do you say, to make friends with a vampire?

Eider decides silly faces should do the trick.

It's getting late, but Eider isn't tired yet. He heads to the local dive bar, because he wants to learn to play the guitar, and he can't afford one of his own. He practices his concert faces. Nope, too sad.

How about this one? Nope, too angry.

He is hungry, so he orders a drink.  The bartender looks away and squints as she lights the drink on fire. Eider gulps it down and heads to the bathroom.

Nothing is more important that talking to Zelda Mae when she calls, even bathroom breaks. He tells her about his up coming party, and she agrees to come.

Monday and Tuesday are workdays; Eider dons his ratty theater shirt and heads to work. By the end of the day on Tuesday, he has been promoted to Roadie.

Tuesday after work, he runs into his coworker Pauline Wan in front of the theater. He asks her sign. He is either obsessed with signs, or he figures if it worked twice, it'll work again.

It worked again. He's getting this down to a science. He tells her about his party, and she says she'll try to make it.

They dance for a while, and he decides he wants to ask her on a date. But for now, it's getting late, and Pauline says she needs to get home. The date will have to wait for another day.

Eider heads home, and eats a gallon of ice cream for dinner. Tomorrow is Wednesday, the day of the big party. Eider can hardly wait.

Notes
Eider has wishes locked to go on a date with both Jamie and Pauline, and he has a wish to woohoo with Jamie. Should be fun :D
